#82 Katie's Story, Mamas Making a DIfference
Today’s guest in my Mamas Making a Difference segment, is an incredible mom, photographer, writer, actress, and now filmmaker, Katie Prentiss.
Two years after losing her mom to dementia at a young age, Katie made a huge midlife shift and began a career in acting, by simply responding to a local casting call. Once on set, acting immediately became her passion and seemed to be the perfect culmination of her previous chapters in life.
She has since booked several movie roles, and continues to embrace this new adventure.
In today’s episode, Katie shares her midlife journey, and how she is now giving back to other caregivers, by creating her new movie, “Wake Up Maggie,” in honor of her mom.
